Working from reference imagery provided, you will be guided through creating form, mixing colours and building texture. Designed for those who appreciate creativity and wildlife, this experience offers a relaxing and fun opportunity to create a unique, nature-inspired artwork.

What will I learn?

·      Transferring image to surface

·      Techniques for slow drying acrylics

·      Blocking and building up lights and darks

·      Feather texture

·      Refinement using small brushes

·      Premium materials included (Golden Open Acrylics, panel support, table easel and brushes)

·      Small class for personalised instruction from a teacher with 25+ years experience.

·      Takeaway reference sheet

·      You will walk away with your own finished bird painting on wood panel

Who is the course suitable for?

The workshop is suitable for people with some experience in painting however it will cater to early learners through to advanced.

What happens if we have to cancel last minute?

If you need to cancel please advise at least 24 hours prior to class. You will have creditto attend another workshop in the future.

Is there wheelchair access and a bathroom on site?

Unfortunately, we do not have wheelchair access as my studio is located upstairs. We have bathroom facilities available downstairs.

Is this workshop suitable for children?

This workshop is aimed primarily for adults or 16 years and above. If you have a teen that is attending with you and you would like to join, you are most welcome.
